A fresh and watery ozonic accord with cool sea spray notes, enhanced with hints of lime and lemon peel next to softer notes of pine and cedarwood, a hint of melon adds a fresh element of sweetness.
Poldhu Cove, also known as Black Pool Cove, is a lovely west-facing sandy beach is suitable for lots of fun activities from building sandcastles to beach volleyball and rocks to explore at low tide and great for swimming, surfing and windsurfing (in the designated zone).
With the imposing former hotel on Poldhu Point to the south and the Mullion Golf course to the north access to the flat, sandy beach is from the car park across the road. A few hundred metres along the southern cliff (Angrouse Cliff) lies the monument to the great inventor Marconi who sent the first wireless signal. Swimming and surfing is possible here taking care at low tide.
Our Danube jars are fully reusable after they have served you as one of our amazing candles, they have a sealable lid and can be repurposed to give you years of service.
Burn time is 30 hours approx
The following steps will ensure the safe + proper use of our candles:
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time
Burn a candle for a minimum of 2 hours or at least to a full melt pool
Burn candles out of reach of children + pets
Always leave at least 10 cm between burning candles
Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire
Do not place candles in a draught
Trim wick to 5 mm before lighting
Don’t burn a candle all the way to the bottom. We recommend leaving 5 mm of wax in the container
Always snuff out the candle. Do not blow out
Keep the wax pool clear and devoid of matches and other debris to avoid flaring
Protect your surfaces
Do not touch the jars when hot
Keep the lids on the jars when not in use
